Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ Hits 30


On September 24, 1991, Nirvana dropped their game changing sophomore long-player, Nevermind. Music would never be the same again. Elevating the band from underground sensation to global phenomenon, the cultural impact of Nevermind made seismic waves that resonate today.

Beginning November 12, Geffen/UMe are celebrating this monumental album by releasing a digitally remastered version of the original Nevermind tapes. Also included within the various reissue formats will be 70 previously unreleased tracks (from a total of 94 audio and video tracks.)

These Nevermind Super Deluxe Editions contain four newly remastered live shows, including: Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Paradiso club, November 25, 1991); Live in Del Mar, California (Pat O’Brien Pavilion, December 28, 1991); Live in Melbourne, Australia for triple j (The Palace in St. Kilda, February 1, 1992); and Live in Tokyo, Japan (Nakano Sunplaza, February 19, 1992).
